Burkina Faso’s President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, just sealed a bold military deal with Russia’s Vladimir Putin — and it’s turning heads.
During his recent visit to Moscow for Russia’s 80th Victory Day, Traoré secured a commitment from Putin to train 50,000 elite soldiers from Burkina Faso.
These troops will receive intense training to stand firm and ready against any Western pressure.
Putin said; “We’ve got your back. Russia will show the world how loyal friends treat each other,” he assured Traoré.
This move signals a growing alliance — and a message to the world that Traoré is ready to rewrite the rules of global partnerships.
