NSCDC in Gombe gets new commandant

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed Mr Gyama Gyawiya as the new commandant of the Gombe State Command.

Buhari Saad, the Public Relations Officer, NSCDC Command said this in a statement on Monday in Gombe.

Saad said that Gyawiya  took over from Mr Muhammad Muazu, who had been promoted to an Assistant Commandant General (ACG)  by the Commandant General (CG), Dr Ahmed Audi.

According to him, Muazu has been deployed to the NSCDC  headquarters, Abuja.

He said Gyawiya was transferred to Gombe  from Ebonyi and he would serve as the 13th commandant in the state.

The command’s spokesperson said that the NSCDC remained committed to maintaining law and order, and the safety of citizens in the state.
