The Commander Infantry Corps (CIC), Major General AK Ibrahim, and the Coordinator of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Jaji Chapter, Mrs Halima Ibrahim, jointly paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Air Vice Marshal HI Alhaji, on Tuesday, 15 April 2025.
During the visit to the College Headquarters, Major General Ibrahim emphasized that the purpose of the visit was to deepen collaboration between the Infantry Corps and AFCSC, particularly in the areas of joint trainings, exercises, and capacity-building engagements. He noted that enhancing synergy between services is key to achieving operational effectiveness across the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
In a statement issued by the College Public Relations Officer, Lt Col Adamu Umar, the NAOWA Jaji Chapter Coordinator, Mrs Halima Ibrahim, expressed appreciation for the warm reception. She used the opportunity to seek support for ongoing developmental projects within the Jaji Military Cantonment. She reaffirmed NAOWA’s unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of military families through the provision of modern infrastructure and amenities, particularly for women and children.
In his response, the Commandant AFCSC, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Idris Alhaji, thanked the CIC, NAOWA Coordinator, and their teams for the visit. He pledged the College’s continued support and readiness to collaborate on initiatives that promote military welfare and enhance professional development.
