Group hails EFCC Chairman Olukoyede For Tackling Corruption

The Global Peace Movement International, UK has commended the the Executive Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Olanipekun Olukoyede
for the current efforts at tackling corruption in the country.

The President General of the group, Dr. Mike Uyi, gave the commendation at a news conference on Friday in Benun, Edo State.

Uyi specifically commended the EFCC Chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede, for going after corrupt public office holders not minding their political affiliations.

He noted that despite of the endemic corruption in the country, the renewed push by the Chairman of EFCC, Olanipekun Olukoyede appears to be giving some kind of hope to the country.

“With what we are witnessing, since Olukoyede assumed office, it appears that the strategic steps and holistic approach being applied by the commission under his leadership has reinvigorate the fight against corruption in the country”.

According to Uyi, the EFCC chairman’s resolve to confront corruption head-on is laudable. He urge him to remain steadfast in his pursuit of verifiable cases.

Uyi pledge GPMI’s commitment to support the EFCC’s efforts to combat corruption in Nigeria.
