COAS inaugurates indigenous language course 16/2024 at NARC

In a significant move to enhance professional competence and cultural understanding within the Nigerian Army, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General TA Lagbaja, inaugurated the Indigenous Languages Course 16/2024 today, 9 July 2024, at Hall C, TY Buratai Block, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja. The COAS was ably represented by the Chief of Administration (Army), Major General OJ Akpor.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including the Director General of NARC, Major General GA Wahab (Rtd) PhD, the Executive Director of NARC Consult, Major General AS Ndalolo, Director of Research, Professor CBN Ogbogbo, Director of Human Resources Development, Brigadier AA Yusuph, Director of Administration, Brigadier General DR Dantani, representatives of Laklit Services, consultants, and other staff of the Centre, among others.

The inauguration marks the continued efforts of the Nigerian Army in fostering linguistic diversity and cultural understanding within its perspnnel, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness, professionalism and unity.
