AFCSC host COAS to a regimental dinner in honour of junior course 98/24

The Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) held a Regimental Dinner in honour of Junior Course 98 on 11 December 2024 at AVM AO Ogundana Officers’ Mess in Jaji Military Cantonment. The Regimental Dinner is a prestigious event that underscores the institution’s commitment to military tradition and professional development.

During his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour and Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede emphasized on the need for the officers to adopt a disciplined and focused approach to their careers, and cautioned them against being distracted by temporary pleasures. “If you add value to yourself the service will also add value to you, he said.

The COAS therefore, adviced the students to always discharge their duties effectively, and to make sure they lead by example using ethical conduct. As such, he urged them to continue improving themselves through attending other relevant courses, seminars and workshops. Thereafter, he congratulated the students, and encouraged them to practice that which they have learnt during the course.
