The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has commissioned the newly constructed official residence of the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of Headquarters Nigerian Army Women Command in Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment Giri, FCT on 23 July 2024.

In his remarks, The Chief of Army Staff, stated that the construction of RSM’s official residence is one of the deliberate steps of the Nigerian Army under his leadership towards reinforcing the prestige, pride and good reputation of the RSM’s office. He pointed out that accommodation is a very critical aspect of troops welfare, as such the NA will continue to build more accommodations within the limit of its resources and competing demands as a testimony to the premium which he places on improving the welfare of troops.
