Biography of CP Hauwa Ibrahim, Kano’s first indigenous Commissioner of Police

Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim mnips is a distinguished Nigerian police officer born on October 28, 1972, in Kano State. She hails from Fagge Local Government Area of the State.

Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim’s educational background is impressive, with her early education taking place at Fagge Primary School, followed by secondary education at Government Girls College (GGC) Dala.

She proceeded to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Her pursuit of higher education continued with a Postgraduate Diploma in Security and Strategic Studies, a Master of Science degree in the same field, and she is currently pursuing her Ph.D.

C.P Hauwa Ibrahim has had a remarkable career in the Nigerian Police Force, rising through the ranks to become one of the most respected female police officers in the country, and the first female northerner to be appointed as commissioner of police. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to service have earned her recognition and admiration.
