Mr Samuel Oyedeji, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kogi Sector Commander, on Friday, charged 10 newly harmonised officers to be dedicated and work hard in their new roles.
Oyedeji gave the charge while decorating the promoted officers with their new ranks at the command’s headquarters in Lokoja, Kogi.
Describing the promotion as “apt and encouraging,” Oyedeji advised the officers to keep the flag of the corps flying.
“Today, you are wearing new ranks, which calls for more efforts to serve the corps better by ensuring you save more lives on our roads,” he said.
Oyedeji emphasised that with their new ranks comes greater responsibility, urging them to be dedicated, responsible, and committed to their duties for the good of Nigerian citizens.
He also thanked the Corps Marshal for giving the officers the opportunity to serve with their new ranks.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the occasion was attended by senior officers from other agencies, including the police, Immigration, NSCDC, Nigeria Army, and National Correctional Service.
