Ondo Former Governor Is Dead

The former Ondo State Governor Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua is dead.

He was 80-years-old at the time of his death.

Evangelist Olumilua died in the early hours of Thursday at his country home, in Ikere-Ekiti.

His son Muyiwa Olumilua the current Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation in Ondo State confirmed the news of his father to pressmen in Akure

The late Evngelist Olomilua was the Governor of old Ondo State, from January 1992 to November 1993 during the Nigerian Third Republic.

He was elected under the platform of the Social Democratic Party until General Sani Abacha took over and restored a Military regime.
